Never put Tim Tebow in the same sentence with Charlie Ward. Ward was better athlete and a better football player.

What?

Athlete yes. What where there stats? Just from memory I don't see how Ward was a better football player.

Too "polarizing?" Stop being a dip sh!t.....you sound like a Lib hack sports writer. The media does its best to make him seem "controversial", not Tebow.

Better athlete? No. Better college football player? Tim Tebow hands down and it's not even close.

Charlie Ward's Stats
Tim Tebow's Stats

Wouldn't quitting go against everything Tebow stands for?

It's obvious you aren't old enough to remember Charlie Ward playing. He was a better passer and runner than Tebow. The problem is he only started at qb for two years, his freshman year he was the punter. He didn't play in the NFL because he told teams he would only sign if he was taken in the first round, back then pro teams weren't lookin for dual threat quarterbacks.

Athlete wise Ward was head and shoulders above Tebow. He was drafted twice in baseball, once by the Brewers and again by the Yankees, despite never playing college baseball. He also went on to have a career in the NBA

I actually am old enough to have seen both but thanks for his short bio. Like I said he is a better athlete but not a better college football player.

And at Ward being a better runner. Match up their Jr and Sr year rushing stats. Maybe his legend has grown as time has passed in your mind.

Wow...

I'm sorry, but in terms of stats and College Football career, Ward has nothing on Tebow.

I'll give you athlete, but better CFB player? Hell no.

Have people seen some of the QBs in this league? Someone needs to give Tebow a shot.

He has something in common with Peyton Manning and that is that they both have the same number of comeback wins in the playoffs.... ONE.

Am I missing something? The Broncos never trailed the Steelers in that game.

What? This I gotta hear.

Tebows beat sport may have actually been baseball. Reading his book he states that he played it from as early as like 4 or 5 and played all through high school.

And I'm not family with it but I guess he was known as like a 5 point prospect or something like that? As in he had the 5 main skill sets they look for in baseball.

I also believe he states having teams prospect him as early as his soph year. But he felt like god was calling him to football
