After getting the cold wet arse yesterday, I think I need some new gear. Right now I am rocking a drake 3in 1 wader jacket. I want something warm, 100% water proof, and not too bulky. GO

Get a drake or Columbia parka that covers your arse

Beretta Xtrema 2 jacket. One of the few still made with GoreTex.
Almost all the Beretta gear is on sale through their website
I think Cabelas has one thats GoreTex as well.
I loved this stuff when it first came out, but after a season or two it either falls apart or is no longer waterproof

The best hunting garment I own is the Drake jac shirt. I usually wear a turtleneck underneath it and that is enough coverage for me.
I prefer not to hunt with a parka or heavy coat on.

I like my Drake jackets. I have a MST fleece lined pullover and the MST Equader Fleece lined with hood. Mine are still water proof, you just have to keep it out of the wash...

The new Sitka stuff is expensive but it's damn near good as it gets. For Christmas I got the duck oven jacket (insulated liner) and the delta wading jacket (gortex shell). I wore a thin drake lst base layer beneath it all when it was 25 w/ 25 mph winds in Arkansas this year and was warm as can be

I have a McAlister wading coat or something like that in Mossy Oak, not sure they still make it but you can not tear them up.

I find that drake jackets absorb water even though they say they are waterproof and i have never washed it. I don't think I will be buying drake again.

Ive got a gamewinner.
No joke its the warmest jacket I own and completely water proof. Ive worn it over my waders and got the bottom completely submergered. It didnt draw the water up and I never got wet.
Cost 50 bucks

I have a Drake EST waterproof jacket in shadowgrass that is pretty sweet. It's not insulated so I can wear it on warm days, and I can layer up underneath with as much as I want. Why do I need camo underneath my camo?

I own a Browning Duck Commander Series 3 in 1 parka. BEST $300 i ever spent on hunting gear. TOTALLY waterproof(have had it for 5 years). I don't think they make it anymore. I think its be replaced by the dirty bird series. I'd look into.
