it's been awhile, It's a Bushmaster made in Windham, Maine. Before they got bought out.

Brownell's has them for $550, not worth selling at that price.

Here is exactly what I did 2 pages back
BCM Upper $120, BCM BCG $180, Upper kit $30, PSA LPK minus trigger (with buffer tube, spring and buffer) $90, Lower $70 (these are the only things hard to find for a build), ALG ACT trigger $65, BCM charging handle $45, BCM grip $30, Mag-pul ACS-l $100 and BCM 11.5" barrel $300.

All I need are some handguards and some iron sights, maybe an Aimpoint and I am done, all of these except the lower were purchased after the 1st of this year.

This may seem like an elementary question, but before I drop some cash: Are all AR-10 mags interchangeable like AR-15 mags?

I will build and AR-10 after the hysteria (if I still can). I can buy some mags right now, since they may be banned after tomorrow.

Wrong. You never know when they'll be on the shelf. If you go first thing, you're competing with 20 other people. If you go during the day, you have to just hope you time it right. If you call on the phone and they have one, by the time you get there it'll be gone.

They have some in stock at Cheaperthandirt (not Magpul).

If I knew they'd fit what I wanted to build, I'd buy them. Hell, I guess I'll just ride it out and wait for the next Rep president's term.

The POF's wouldn't scare me, but they're 90 fricking dollars. The other ones, I don't know. There's lots of crap out there.

Maybe instead buy these and/or these.

If you don't end up with a RRA later, you can probably trade for the right mags. At $30 they're a good price.

Speaking of the AR-10 platform i am really surprised no one made a receiver to feed from H&K G3 mags as they could be had for as little as $0.97 each not that long ago.
