Having an LSU Bowl game/New Year's Eve Party. What all should we serve? My spouse has already told me to have 4 dips! Plus other foods.

I just saw a recipe for boudin dip. I can't decide if it's genius or not.

Pepperoni dip is kind of interesting, too. Use cute little mini pepperonis.

Crawfish cardinale with french bread chips.

If you're interested in a seafood spread that goes far, look in the TD recipe book in the stickied thread above for the crabmeat layered dip/spread. You can use shrimp or crawfish as an alternative.

Also, look for the shrimp and andouille mini muffins for something a bit different.

Are you looking for any other food suggestions than dips?

Artichoke Dip

4 8oz blocks cream cheese
1 wedge Romano Cheese
1 wedge Parmesan Cheese
1 jar Artichoke hearts (quartered)
1 medium can Diced Green Chilies

Shred or grate the block cheeses. Whip the cream cheese until spreadable. Blend the cheeses and add drained, quartered artichoke hearts, and entire can of chilies/juices. Mix. Turn into a baking dish suitable for serving. Bake at 350F for 20 minutes. Serve with tortilla chips.

Warm Bacon Blue Cheese Dip

7 slices bacon chopped
2 cloves garlic-minced
8oz cream cheese
1/4c cream or half-half
4oz blue cheese
2T chopped green onions
3T chopped smoked almonds

Cook bacon and garlic. Drain. Beat cream cheese till smooth. Add cream. Beat again. Stir in bacon, onions, and blue cheese. Sprinkle almonds on top. Bake 30 minutes at 350F.

That's all I got.

Taco Ring. Guaranteed crowd pleaser. Very easy to make and doesn't last long. Google for the recipe. Easy to find.

Cheesy sausage dip (hot)

Need a crock pot

2 blocks cream cheese
1 pound sausage cooked and crumbled
1 can medium rotel

Cook sausage and cube up cream cheese. Open rotel and add all three to crock pot. Heat until creamy. Add a tablespoon or two of milk if needed to reduce thickness to the point you like.

Use scoops Doritoes to dip the stuff up.

Little children will sing songs to your greatness as a hot dip chef.
