Agreed, that'd be one of the better small bowl games. Tons of local interest, too, and the best shot of the Indy Bowl selling out

frick them, I hope LaTech loses to NIU in Detroit with 7 fans in attendance

there are some delusional Tech fans.

on La Tech BBB some of them are pimping the idea that playing in a different bowl with give them better exposure. Some think they are still getting the Heart of Dallas Bowl.

But IMO if they play in the Little Ceasers they will just end up looking like shite b/c nobody will travel for that game. I guess a Wednesday night in primetime is better than 2pm on a Friday for the Indy TV wise but IMO more people would stay interested in the game if the stands were filled.

agreed.

if they end up at the Little Ceaser's they would have just turned down half a million bucks over ego issues.

Payout for Indy is $1.1 million

Payout for Pizza Bowl is $600k

Unless they have the Heart of Dallas Bowl lined up ($1.2 million) they royally screwed up.

How about you not show your ignorance until tomorrow night. Congrats to you for using F$ck & then Pu$$y twice in the sentence. Quality education.
A Tech ULMCC would be good for local economy & turnout but would bore the SH!t out of me quite frankly. Tech has nothing to gain by playing a close school with 1 season of success in a fracking bowl game.

What do they gain playing before 60,000 empty seats in Detroit?

The Big 12, SEC, ACC, etc. have all played in the Indy Bowl......yet God's gift to football,LA Tech, feels it is not good enough for them.

Tech turned down Indy last Monday. It's 50/50 between Dallas and Memphis.

Tech should have accepted the Indy Bowl bid. What a horribly dumb move.

And this coming from a Tech fan.

Tech vs ULM Indy Bowl would have been great.

$500k just in payout. Then add in how expensive it will be to ship everyone up to Detroit versus the hour to Shreveport

And honestly, here was Tech's chance to shut all the ULM fans up for awhile.

Just Tech

Prolly an intrasquad scrimmage because no one is worthy to play them.
