The word is the Liberty decided to take the winner of today's defacto Sun Belt championship game. stAte or Mtsu would sell a lot more tix than Tech. At the end if the day, that is the deciding factor

Not a lie. Whether or not we "officially" turned it down, it was pretty common knowledge around campus that we did or were going to over a week ago.
Either way, our decision had nothing to do with ULM like a lot of people have implied.

I think the Liberty's tieins are actually filled so I don't think Tech will get in. If the tieins weren't filled, it would probably go to stAte

I think we all know Tech is this mind blowing extraordinary team, but there isn't a single Tech fan that's butthurt about us turning down the Independence Bowl.
Congrats to y'all for getting to go to a bowl but ULM fans really need to accept the fact that no matter how much bitching you do, tech isn't going to the Independence Bowl.
