I have a navel orange tree that produced what looks like small navels and are orange in color on the outside but look like Meyer and taste like a Meyer on the inside. And for what it's worth I have a Meyer tree about 40 feet from it that bloomed but no lemons on it.

They have a lot of trees out there now that people are just grafting and breeding and that's why I said a bastard lemon/orange. I've seen a few that are pretty strange.

I have 2 lemon trees. The fruit on one of them looks just like that. I was told its a grafted tree that the rootstock took over and is producing the fruit. No idea if thats accurate, just what I was told. We don't use the lemons on that tree.
