I love the fact that the Vol fans have ALREADY doomed their next hire to failure. Because, no matter who it is, they are going to be disappointed that he isn't Gruden. So, the first recruit that chooses UGa or AU over Tenn it'll be, "Gruden would've landed him! This coach isn't a closer!" Or the first close game he next coach loses - even to a more talented team like UF or SCar, it'll be, "Gruden wouldn't have lost this game! This staff is in over their heads!"

Going to be fun to watch, actually.

There is as much chance of Gruden coaching my local high school football team. What a delusional fan base.

I know the teacher whose classroom he was in. She's not a big football fan and honestly couldn't care less, so I sincerely doubt she was lying about it.

Edit: I called her and I was wrong. Gruden was there this past week, not today.

Davis and Tressel have too much baggage to take over a team with two additional years of probation.

Isn't Rocky Top bankrupt?

nope Arkansas and Tennessee will not have the Gruden services next year and I really doubt how effective he could be in the college ranks. In other news we plan on sending our athletic director to Tennessee for a million and taking that to resign Petrino to once again be able to kick the crap out of the SEC and beat LSU every other year.
