What should I order at the restaurant? Def gonna get two bahn mi sandwiches, which ones should I get? Also is there anything else on the menu I should order? I noticed the bahn mi menu was separate from the restaurant menu online, can I still order the sandwiches in the restaurant? Thanks.

I had their Pho and it was great. The po boys are from the bakery. I would imagine you could order it from the restaurant but it will be a lot of food.

The bakery and the restaurant is connected by an interior door. Order your Pho & drink, then walk next store and get your Bahm Minh and a couple of meat pies. Eat your sandwich while waiting for your Pho, bring the meat pies home for a snack. That's my routine.
The last time I was there, John Besh was at the next table.

Vietnamese grilled pork, Chinese barbecue pork, Vietnamese sausage.

My favorite thing on the menu is what they used to call "bird's nest" vermicelli, I get it with the grilled pork. Last time I went it was called pressed vermicelli, but looking at the menu now it may be called vermicelli pancake, though I'm not sure.
They serve it with a giant plate of green leaf lettuce, some picked veggies, japs, cilantro or basil I forget, and a bowl of fish sauce. The plate comes out with ten or so bird's nest of vermicelli pressed flat served with grilled pork and maybe onions, crushed peanuts on top.
You take the lettuce and break off a piece about the size of the vermicelli. Place one of the bird's nest in it, pork, whatever condiments you like, maybe some sriracha or hoisen, then roll it up. Dip it in the fish sauce and profit like a mofo. repeat ten or so times until you either finish it all or explode. Insanely good food. You couldn't find better for the money.
Finish it all off with a coffee bubble 'tea' or else you'll sleep for the afternoon. Spring roll for an app or you're a commie.

You might as well get every kind of banh mi. Chinese meatball, French cold cuts, and rotisserie chicken ftw. Don't bother getting anything at the restaurant. The bakery is where it's at.

My favorite is #1, which is the combination banh mi. Try that one first before you experiment with the other options.
The pho at the restaurant is good but they make a great bun thit nuong, which is a marinated grilled pork and vermicelli noodle dish. That pork is simply amazing.

I normally just grab from the bakery. #5 )Vietnamese pork) is my favorite as I am not a fan of pate on the combo. (I don't like any pates - texture like cat food.
I also pick up some meat pies for later and coconut macaroons for the wife.
