FBD - Finishing off a Rodenbach Grand Cru from the other night while making an étouffée. Was going to go gumbo but didn't have time to make proper stock.

My traditional Saints game beer is Abita, but with them being 0-4 I decided to buck the trend.

FBD: Bell's Two Hearted Ale

Have not tried the Naked Pig, but the first 2 are so good. I still have a few SweetWater IPAs from my trip to AL last month, but I am out of Great Divide brews now.

We expect to see you 10/27

still working on it

i don't think the naked pig will be anything to get excited about. she could not find any snake handler unfortunately. i told her not to bother with the good people ipa.

I made an effort to find snake handler in Montgomery last month and did not see any. I think it is brewed quarterly in limited quantity. You are right, their regular IPA is just OK. One good thing I discovered in AL is Straight to Ale from Huntsville. Their Monkeynaut IPA is very good.

FBD was a Dogfish Head 90 Minute IPA. One of my favorites.
SBD & TBD were Sam Adams Octoberfests at my brother's house.
