I'm providing this service free of charge for my fellow TD'ers.
I know its tough when you expect the thing to work.
Just email me your phone number at
Meauxjeaux2@yahoo.com
I'll try to.get.back with you asap and there's probably a 75% chance we'll get you up and running hopefully soon

Mj
My McCoullagh 5500w does not start anymore. I'm pretty sure it's a clogged carb.
Do they make kits for it?

yeah that's really cool of you. We had two this morning but both had issues, so now we just have one.
One of them is blowing gas through a valve, so it is shot.
I went to start it and gas came spraying out of the Crankcase ventilation hose. Removed the valve cover and it's just shooting out of the exhaust valve not into the exhaust out of the valve as it goes up to open. Never seen anything like it.

Nice gesture.
I still think you should charge a little. I encourage anyone who takes mj2 up on his offer to donate some money to his PayPal account.

But after reading,
Dewalt DG7000 won't power up when the idle control switch is on, but in off position it powers up. WTF is up with that?

Emailed you my problem.
The carburetor had a lot of crap in the bowl/body, but I cleaned it thoroughly with carburetor cleaner.
All it will do now is crank for about 2-3 seconds and die; only with the choke closed.
