Seems likely. Though I've always sort of believed that Roose was always in league with Twyin from the beginning. Would explain him holding back troops at the Green Fork and that the Ironborn attack of Winterfell was the ultimate opportunity. What happened with Robb and Jeyne was just what Roose needed to inact his final plan, knowing the Frey's would be pissed.

Yep, I think he'll end the series as Hand of the King or Queen and Lord of Casterly Rock. He, next to Rickon, is the character I feel most confident will make it to the end of the series.

There is no way that Tyrion will be alive at the end. However, since this is the character that GRRM has personally identified with, I would expect him to live to the bitter end.
My guess is that he may be the very last character to die, and/or the very last POV in the series. As GRRM ends his time with ASOIAF, so goes Tyrion .
It wouldn't surprise me one bit if he survived dragons, the upcoming wars, and his sister, only to be killed by a whore.
