What is the LSU standard really that Miles talks about?

Jordan Jefferson violates team curfew, leads his team mates into a bar fight at 2:00 AM in the night and gets charged with felony battery.
Then when the charges are reduced to misdemeanor battery, while the case goes to court, takes over from an undefeated starter, who never takes another snap.
Miles just plays favorites with team members. It cost us an NC and will cost us more.

What's really messed up is I heard comments similar to the OPs from several people yesterday. It seems as if the JJ/Miles situation is the standard by which all such incidents will be compared from now on.
