re: Rubio on Iraq: "It was not a mistake". - mike4lsu
Rubio on Iraq: "It was not a mistake".
Fear not Rex. Bush III will beat Hillary in a close race and then will find some excuse to take us into Iran, a nation of 66 million people. It will create a conflagration corridor from the Indian border all the way to Israel. Pakistan => Afgh...

Why would you want Ed Orgeron on this staff - mike4lsu
Look there are certain folks in Louisiana who have a pathalogical dislike for LSU.The ones at ULL think they are equal or better than us. Some in LaTech and north louisisna hate us as well. In any case if any one is a poster child for this group of louisiana folks who hate LSU is Ed Orgeron. He m...
Alleva don't do shite with the football program without TAF's say-so.
So why did TAF not step in and work out a package for Chavis?...
Chavis was not the program!
Do you remember Lou Tepper and Malaveto. By the way the veto and Malaveto is still here. No Sir! Chavis was the program. Miles will be out by the end of 16 and the golden age of LSU football will be over....

Question to the OP. Would you trade Lou Tepper or Malaveto for "Third and Chavis"? No chance in hell....

For those in the know. How much influence does TAF have? - mike4lsu
I was wondering that when Alleva refused to match Texas A&M could TAF have stepped in and saved this disaster from happening. Chavis was the program, considering that we have a virtually non-existent offense. Without the tiger defense, I think we are 3-9 this year and 0-8 in the SEC. No Chavi...

How many people see Les taking the Michigan job? - mike4lsu
If Miles is offered the job, he would be offered 6 million, that would be 2 million less than what JH was offered. Why take a lateral career move at 61 as a plan B coach who would make less than what the plan A cosch was offered....

re: If Harbaugh doesn't go to Michigan, would Michigan offer... - mike4lsu
You are joking, right? Harbaugh's resume is far more impressive. Miles wouldnt be offered more than 6.5 mil Miles has won a NC and played for another. He has taken LSU to 3 BCS bowl games. He hasvwon the SEC two times and the division 3 times. Harbaugh has won just one conference title. ...

re: If Harbaugh doesn't go to Michigan, would Michigan offer... - mike4lsu
If I were Miles, I would be pretty insulted if I were not offered the same. As far as only college football coaching resume goes, Miles has a better resume than Harbaugh. Of course has has one a NFC championship and played for a couple, but college is a different game. Ask Charlie Weiss....

Could Mark Hudspeth be a good fit at LSU? - mike4lsu
I know the program at UL Lafayette. It is a dumpster fire or maybe just a dumpster. If he can win there, I think he can win at a lot of places. I know our mistakes with Archer and Hallman, but this might turn out better. I think he may be a bettet offensive mind than average division 1 fbs coach/...

Does Michigan seriously think Les can turn it around. - mike4lsu
I understand Les has done a great job here but he has also been aided by the facilities, the budget to hire assistant coaches, and the recruiting base of the Baton Rouge New Orleans area. Also he was handed a great program hand crafted by, lets face it, once in a lifetime half of fame coach. Cons...

There could be a 5 way tie in the west - mike4lsu
LSU looses to Auburn, MSU Ole Miss to LSU Auburn MSU to Alabama and Ole Miss Auburn to Alabama and Miss State Alabama to Ole Miss, LSU For this to happen (1) LSU has to run the table (2) Auburn beats out Ole Miss, this weekend. This is likely as Ole ...

Question for Football gurus regarding struggling o-line - mike4lsu
If I know, I have a poor offensive line and a QB that can scramble but not throw so well, I would design an offense that runs out of a spread formation. That way at least force the defense to cover the width of the field with 3 WR and two running backs and not place 8-9 in the box. ...

re: For those who want this coaching staff gone? - mike4lsu
Give Les a chance. I think Chavis given a couple of years might turn the defense around. If we go 4-8 or 5-7 Miles might move away from his offensive philosophy. That is our best bet....

For those who want this coaching staff gone? - mike4lsu
It takes a long time to find a good fit for a program like LSU. Look at Nebraska: Tom Osborne retires and Frank Solich is fired after winning 10 games a year. They went downhill with Bill Callahan. They have recovered under Bo but they are nowhere near they were in their heydays. Look at Tenne...
