TM7's Disposition

I have read a number of posts regarding TM7's antics on the field. Posts like "I like his agression but act like you've been there". Though I agree there is a "little room" to tone it down; those who are most critical, I ask you consider what it truly takes to perform at such a high level as an undersized player in the SEC? There has to be an angry edge to go along with his natural talent and I suspect it sometimes manifests itself into over-the-top gestures...relax, Coach Cooper will have a talk with him and he will be fine...In the meantime appreciate who is wearing #7

If he keeps making plays like he has this season, he can do whatever the frick he wants IMO.

whatever hes doing, i hope it never stops. hes the smallest guy on the field, but hes badest guy in the nation. it takes a certain edge to perform the way he does, hes he found his
im not a fan talking tons of shite and all that, but if he play like he does, you can do whatever you like

If he keeps acting like this on the field, TM7 will be telling his position coach what to do. TM7 making a name for his coach along with the other DB's.

People are completely overreacting about this trash talking shite. WVU players were running their mouths all week. Not to mention if it's done properly you can really frick with someone's mind and affect their play. I'm sure WVU was frustrated by not being allowed in the endzone and for hardly getting in to the redzone. People need to chill the frick out.

Didnt miles address this at some point and said something along the lines of "we dont wanna change anything about him, well let him do what he does best?"

They compare him to the Honey Badger in disposition, but unlike TM7, the Honey Badger doesn't need shameless self-promotion. He (TM7) can accomplish the same size-defying feats without the cheap and classless bravado. If he can't separate one from the other, then I agree with other posters that he needs to grow up. I'm still amazed at what he does on the field.

Jesus Christ..... you fricks will find something to cry about everything. He's a 19 year old playing a sport at a higher level than most. I don't want him to change a thing. Trash talking has been in sports since forever.

As long as he isn't drawing a flag, I don't care what he does, and I'm sure Miles doesn't either. I hope its intentional on TM7's part, and not just the result of emotion. The former would be easier to tone down when necessary.
To me, he doesn't look out of control one single bit. He looks like he's moving three steps faster than every other player on the field. Its like he's using "The Force" or something like that.

The meaning and usage of words changes over time. There are also differences in culture where certain things are seen differently.
When other 18-23 year olds are playing against each other, there is certainly "talk" going on. The word "trash" has been added to it.
Now, 40-70 year old guys listening to 40-70 year old announcers who are far removed from the intensity of athletic competition, if they ever had it, are "shocked" by this.
But what these people don't realize is there's no difference between what tm7 says today and dick butkis hitting a guy hard and saying "there's more of that here next time you come back". Just changes in the words over time.
Perhaps the most respected basketball player of all time was also the biggest "trash" talker.
If tm7 wants to talk trash to the other players, who certainly talk it back to him, let him do so as long as he can back it up.

What are you talking about?? Trash-talking and intimidating players goes back further than the 85 Bears...the difference is 200 camera shots picking up on your every move...producers know what audiences are going to respond to...TM7 should tone it down a little as to not get any taunting penalties...who else at 5'9" 175lbs can do what he is doing? Who is a more talented "choir boy" you would like to see out there instead of him? No one is flawfless...I'll take is flaws along with his game-changing plays..
