BWW Charged Me 20 Cents for Seasoning on Fries = Zero Chance I Go Back

One of the most ridiculous things I've ever been charged for. At least warn me.

I hope you're joking. Don't order seasoned fries next time = problem solved and you keep your quarter.

That's some bullshite right there. They shouldn't even charge for ranch there it's a condiment.

I'm talking about adding Tony's to the regular fries.

That's pretty cheap of them.

I get charged $0.25 for a water cup, $0.50 for a side of ranch...cost of eating out. IDGAF.
I'd just assume the $0.20 is the cost more associated with keeping the non-seasoned fries from the seasoned ones. That and the actual Tony's cost in there somewhere.
It's not like you ordered a crab cake app off of the special board and it came out to be $20 or something.

As silly as it sounds for somebody to charge for seasoning, I think it's just as silly to complain about being charged 20 cents for seasoning, and then vow to never return because of it. I don't go there often for various reasons, but that aint one of em.

Go frick yourself. This is the only board I post on. Sorry I don't have 25k posts.
I have a huge problem with getting a bill from this type of place with added charges for fricking seasoning on my fries.

Stanley, we understand it's a BS charge - we just don't understand the outrage. Not going back is about the only thing you can do though since it'd be crazy for anyone else to avoid them due to your experience. Now we know. Sounds like the idea of a corporate executive, damn them (I'd be one if they asked me though).

dude, I will mail you 20 fricking cents if it really bothers you that much!
ITS $0.20!
ITS $0.20!

That is a little messed up for them to not tell you, but 20 cents on what, a $20 bill? Not enough to make me never go back.

It's about the same as getting charged for a lemon in my water. It's shitty business practice.
Posted on 7/6/11 at 10:28 am to StanleyB
dont be white trash and order tonys on your fries buddy!

I can understand the point of bringing it up. It's the principal of the thing. Some businesses are sticklers for that shite. I get more pissed when I ask for something extra, get charged for it, then get home and realize that they in fact forgot the extra thing I asked for, but I still paid for it. Even if it's .50 it still kinda bothers me.

I ordered a party tray from the Bluebonnet location over the weekend for a get-together. Got there a little early, manager offered me a soda on the house while I waited.
I thought it was a nice gesture. I also wouldn't cry if my bill was 20 cents extra for seasoning. What were planning on getting with that money, a box of chiclets?

It's a stupid charge, but there are a lot better reasons to not go back to BWW than .20. Namely that Plucker's is right down the road and is far superior.
