Arky is more battle tested this season, but tOSU has more big game experience, so I think that aspect of the game is a wash.

Ohio State will win because they are a better team. I am not confident that Arkansas can close out a major game against a great team unless the other team self-destructs. For all the talent Mallet has, he makes too many stupid decisions, and that will cost Arky the game.

tOSU 31
Arky 27

I see this game as a win - win proposition.

If Arky wins, then I'll wave the SEC banner and enjoy yet another year of bashing the Big 10 and OSU!!

On the other hand, if OSU wins, then I will get much pleasure from taunting the Hogs for letting them break the streak!!

That's a moderate way of looking at it.

That's how I always look at Michigan.

If they win, good for the Big10. If they lose, at Michigan.

This is not a good matchup for Ohio State, in my opinion.

I would have rather played Bama or LSU. But this is a winable game for Ohio State for sure. They don't have a power running game which is what killed us against Wisconsin. Hopefully our secondary can get healthy and we can contain their passing attack and we will be fine.

We have enough O to beat them, just gotta bring the D and contain them.

They have a decent running game and just look at how they went through an LSU D that is MUCH better than OSU. Plus the passing game is the best you guys will have faced all year.

So awesome to allow an 80 yard TD with 6 seconds left till half?

I agree that I think we'll win, but it will be tough. A lot tougher than Oregon last year. We'd roll a team like that. But I'm still afraid for our secondary against a QB like Mallet, especially with a DL that has difficulty sacking the QB. I do think we have more overall talent than them, though. We'll see.

I have said this before. The only team you played with close to the talent Arkie has CREAMED you.

it was 31-18 and included a kick return for a TD.

PJ please stick to football history. you are not good at analyzing

Whatever Mr.know-it-all. Tell me Arkie has less talent than anyone OSU has played.

They have less talent than Miami. They're better at football than Miami, because their coach is much better and they execute better, but they have less "talent".

Just pray that Knile Davis doesn't get involved in special teams.

this statment just proves my point. I don't want to get into an insult attack with you, but you are viewing this in absolutist terms. Aside from Wisconsin, who did beat tOSU, at home, Arkansas may be the most talented team they have played. But Arkansas is not exactly 2001 Miami and teams like Iowa, Penn State, Miami, and even Michigan have some talent. Its not like tOSU has been playing a sunbelt schedule. They tehmselves are a talented team, better than any team Arkansas has beaten.

I think the point is that you don't have Wisconsin's offensive line.

This is a great matchup. Arkansas will be able to do less on offense than many here believe. However, they will score points.

Here's the stat that will determine the game.

Arkansas has 71 plays of 20 or more yards including 12 of over 40.

Ohio State has given up 29 play between 20-42 yards with ZERO given up over 42 including only 2 plays over 40 yards all year.

If Arkansas can't go vertical they lose as Ohio State will turn them into a one-dimensional team. If they can go vertical they probably win the game IMO.

I see it like this. If Pryor shows up we win. If he throws it away we lose.

I don't buy the big game argument stuff. Arkansas has played in big game environments all year (@ Auburn, @ Georgia, and @ USCe). If this was TCU playing in this kind of atmosphere for the first time, I would agree.

I don't think nerves will have anything to do with the outcome of this one.
