re: PuttaDaForkDown

Just slowly start climbing back on the wagon. At some point down the line, you're going to get back on. But don't let it be 6 weeks from now. Or 3 months.

Cause you know what always happens to me? I start to harp on how much progress I could have made in that time. And I feel like shite. So don't put yourself in that situation. Esp when you've came this far. Good luck

Sorry to hear about your wife.

In the interest of full disclosure, I lost the first 40 then had gastric sleeve surgery. Feeling great though.

Prayers sent to you and your family. Don't be too hard on yourself. I know when I went through my hardest times, exercise was my outlet. A long run helped clear my head, helped me sleep at night, and after a run I was more focused on the foods I was eating. You're still a beast

280/173/165

Been completely out of it for a while now. Just started a new job and moved from LA to Houston, and have been completely out of my routine since all this began in April. I'm actually really surprised I haven't gained more than these 5 lbs. Anyway, I really need to find the motivation and listen to my own advice about exercise as an outlet.

re: PuttaDaForkDown

Never visit this board, but glad I read the last couple pages of this thread. First off, prayers to Doldil. That's tough. Stay strong for her. Coming from a single guy that knows what he wants but can seem to attain it in the timeframe he wants, even through this tough time, be thankful for what you have, and thankful that you have each other.

Anyway, I was bumping 290-300 in college. Was eating horribly and way too much.

Got out of college and quickly got down to 265-270 just because I was out and about working everyday, honestly. That lasted about two years.

Went through a tough stretch last summer in my personal life, and got pretty depressed, so really just never had an appetite for about two months. Sucked, but it did teach me a little about what your body really needs. Got down to around 218 for 9 months or so until this spring. I went back to my old eating habits, and got back up to 230 a couple weeks ago, and decided to start cutting back. Already back down to 223. Feeling better and looking better. It's pretty amazing what that little bit will do. I'm just going to set my goal at 210, because I think I can get there and not change anything really.

So, long story short:

295/223/210

At home from work today, so I just now took a shower. I weigh myself every morning before I get in the shower.

So update from like 20 minutes ago:
