Had a one lb bounce over the weekend, but nothing I can't correct this week. Would like to get to 167-168(regularly) before Hog for Cause.

My issue is now that I'm lifting and what not again seriously I'm seeing gains in my arms/chest but stomach isn't losing as much. This is with me staying between 1500-1800 calories a day and running daily

My bad. My number is 1.35/lb of Lean Body Mass. Not total weight as IIFYM uses. You'd need to know your approximate BF% to get that number. Or guess.

Abs are made in the kitchen bro. The fridge is part of the kitchen. And you my friend, take in a ton of beer calories.
Trust me. You want to lose that stomach fat, then change your diet.

Yea I know I would probably need to cut out all beer, I don't want abs, just lose a little fat around them where when I tuck a shirt in I don't have that overhang. I don't know my BF exactly either

Was at 226 the other day...numbers have been slowly creeping up, not creeping down.

Ate a little too much yesterday, particularly in the sodium department. Beef jerky, Subway, and salted almonds makes for a LOOOOT of sodium.

I haven't posted in this thread since 5/16/13. I was 182.2 on that day. Without really trying too hard, I've managed to stay between 185-190 the last year. Time for me to really work and try to get down in the 170s. I was up to 218 several years ago and haven't really been above 190 since I dropped down. So, I guess I'll change my original weight from 218 to 190 since I've been able to keep that off for a few years.

i'm assuming you are doing something like not eating breakfast? so, you fast from dinner to lunch? i basically do the same thing as I only drink coffee 4-6 days/week. I normally make and eat breakfast with my family on Saturdays. Occassionally will eat breakfast on Sundays or working from home on Mondays.

I fast from 9 pm - 1 pm and eat from 1-9. 18 hour fast and 8 hour feeding window. I feel it keeps my appetite in check and I workout in a fasted state. Without going into all the scientific details (since I'm no expert) but heavy weight training while fasted is extremely beneficial.
I suggest you check out these 2 sources.
Leangains This guy, Martin Berkhan, didn't exactly create IF, but he revolutionized it you could say. About a year ago he went a little crazy and quit updating his site, but there is a ton of good info on there. Start where I linked and progress from there. Bad thing about his site is that it isn't very well organized.

Or start here. This guy basically took Martin's (leangains creator) concept and expanded it slightly. His site is MUCH more organized and has ton's of great info as well. He links and references leangains alot.

I'd start there. I'm just starting to really focus on the diet and transition my body. Ideally, I'd like to stay sub 10% BF at all times. And following leangains system will make it possible for sure.

I really enjoyed IF when I tried it, but my monthly rotating schedule makes it really hard to adhere to. I had to constantly change my scheduling and never developed a good rhythm so I was just hungry all of the time.

Day 11 of the 24 day challenge. Finished with the 10 day cleanse. Wasn't bad. But wasn't a huge change for me. All the extra fiber though did cause some farts. But oh well.
2 more weeks to hunker down and make this happen.

i wish i had a 26 hour day. Nice. I'm assuming you meant 8 hour feeding window and 16 hour fast. You don't eat breakfast and just eat lunch and dinner?

I've basically been fasting this way on and off for a few years. I rarely eat breakfast. I normally eat lunch at 11 and dinner between 5-6. I just need to add in some lifting M-W-F and I'll be doing close to lean gains. I don't always get the protein:fat:carb ratios right. But, I've been trying to eat cleaner.

Oops. Yea it was a typo. 16 hour fast, 8 hour eating.
I eat at 1, 5, and 8. 3 large meals. Biggest being at 1. I'd love to work out right before my first meal, but real life for most people doesn't allow that. So I workout every morning before work. Take 10 g of BCAA's right before workout. Then I take 2 other doses of 10 g of BCAA's evenly between then and 1 pm. So like this morning was 4 am, workout, 7 am, 10 am, eat at 1.

I'm just starting to pay attention to my macros. Hopefully everything works as it should.

I guess March is giving me the finger for my amazing February...still stuck. It feels like a month +, but I think it's about 3 weeks that the scale has slowly creeped from 222.8 up to as high as 226. Calories are good, usually around 1600 a day. I'm not sure why I'm not losing anything right now.

The only reason I'm in a rush now is because I'm only planning to order one more delivery from Nutrisystem, and I want my stupid bear for 100 pounds and my goal. They give out motivational bears for every 10 pounds lost, and I love seeing those little bastards around my dinner table

I know how ridiculous that sounds, but motivation is motivation, right? Right. Birthday weekend coming up, wife is making me a badass birthday cake that I plan to have some of and then pawn off on my coworkers Tuesday. Hell, I may even get drunk for the first time since the Iron Bowl.

and thus ends my diary entry for 3/20/14

Just my opinion, but I don't think you're eating enough. At your size you should probably take a "diet break" every 6-8 weeks I think. Have you been doing a low carb diet?

I will be hitting it hard pretty much all the time starting next week. Running a gym sure will have its perks in that area. I need it as I feel a bit soft.

Btw tell that Michigan cutie that you have room for her in la.
