Yeah but you know why you went up.

I'm up 1.3 based on 1300 calories yesterday and the damn contest weigh-in is Thursday. I need to sweat that water out NOW.

Finally hit the gym again yesterday. Creatine in my pre workout + soreness probably the reason for the bump up.

Pretty solid day today, getting better with the carb cutting...had 2 deer sausage links/no bun with some fruit tonight. 5 days in a row now under 1600 cal, that and the carb cutting has made me lightheaded at work somehow! The scale is moving down slower than I wish, but I feel better overall...especially in the morning!

It takes time for your body to get adjusted to lowering your carbs. Give it a few days

I know. I've been fighting that urge for days now. Today I actually stood up from my chair, put on my shoes, put my keys in my pocket, all ready to go to the store. Got to the door, said, "no god dammit you don't need beer", took my shoes off, and sat back down. I want at least hit 250 first.

As expected the weekend was "generally" a fail, but I think less of one than normal. Food was fine, had crawfish Saturday but no potatoes or anything. I think I probably limited my total beer intake to maybe 6 or 7 over the course of the weekend...by proxy I got blackout drunk REALLY early both nights (eta: because I drank gin/soda instead and I tend to be a little heavy on the pour). All I know is that usually I end up with a big water weight gain on Monday and by Thurs or Fri I would be back around even or barely above, which is why my weight has gone up, but gone up slowly (past 3 or 4 months really).

Last post was last Thursday (yes I've actively avoided the thread and I generally post less on the weekend anyway) and weighed in at 177.8, current weight today is 175.6 and trust me I can feel a 7 lb difference pretty easily clothing wise. Right now I'm pretty close to zero carb during the week, basically just staying in the induction zone of carb consumption. I intend to bring exercise into the equation likely next week.

Back to the 270's. I think part of the reason I felt so bad yesterday was a combo of really spicy chili the night before and maybe me not having as many carbs as I am used to. I feel much better today though.

The whole30 hasn't been too bad. I was already limiting dairy and grains on my normal diet and eliminating them hasn't been too much of a shock.
