This book looks interesting. I worked at DWF as a student from '81 to '84 and some of the stories these guys would tell!

They probably have some interesting stories in that book. If I read, I'd definitely buy it.

i got this for my birthday a few weeks ago and finally was able to start it. im about halfway through and i will say its pretty awesome. very informative and reads really quick

I wish. Its a student job. But potentially over time i could be. I know the head of the Fisheries side and Wildlife side. So, hopefully they can help there.

I worked in Property Control from '81 to '84, which was pretty cool because I got to drive all of the new trucks and cars from the D of A property control lot to the office and the old wrecks from the office to the D of A lot. Some of the latter were literally death traps. The PC office was in the old District 7 HQ at the end of Quail Drive, which was nice because I could ride my bike to work when my '72 Beetle wasn't feeling well. All this changed when they moved the LDWF HQ from NOLA to BR in '82 and set up shop in the old Bon Marche' shopping center.

I loved working there and it kept me in beer money for most of my 5.5 years in college!
