Kabobs. You can do almost anything with different meeat/veggie combos
This.
The most often forgotten alternative.
My wife likes them with marinated chicken or filet mignon, mushrooms, onions, red bell peppers..served over wild rice.

Probably second to R&O's....they are greasier...both are Manuel's (NOLA) style.

What kind of lamb would you cut up for kabobs?

Octopus with grilled lemons
tomatoes, onions, and lime for a smokey salsa
peaches for dessert
butterflied chicken with a spice rub
sardines with grilled lemons
bananas in their skin for dessert, sprinkle with Cinnamon and honey
peppers stuffed with queso freso and spices
grilled romaine lettuce - halved or quartered, great salad.

Grill some potatoes. Wash and leave skin on. Cut in rounds and drizzle with olive oil, salt and pepper. Place on grill and grill until light brown and crispy on both sides. Really good!

Regardless of the meat choice, grilled asparagus makes an awesome side. Just toss it in a ziplock with a little olive oil and seasoning of choice, then toss it on the grill.
People who otherwise don't eat asparagus have tried and loved my grilled asparagus.

Potato slices on the grill
Toss in hot sauce/butter mix.
Awesome side
Another good one is take corn in the husk and put it on the grill to cook.
Mix tomato paste and butter in around a 1:1 ratio and mix. Add chili paste and other spices to taste. Remove husk and slather on the paste/butter combo on the corn...serve.

There is little that is simpler or better on the grill than Salmon lightly dusted with Paul Prudhome's Salmon Seasoning on a thoroughly soaked cedar plank. It's quick, easy, and delicious.
