What will the Broccoli Casserole (River Road) be without it? Is pepperjack Velveeta a comparable substitute?

pepperjack velveeta is not the same as the garlic cheese from kraft......
they still make it....
where u shopping?
i am sure the pepperjack velveeta will work, just will have a distinctively different taste....

You could always go buy a new cookbook.
The New River Road edition just out has revised all recipes to use ingrediant currently avaliable.
Sorry thats all the help I can give today

There's a brand in LA stores called Parker's Garlic Cheese. They also make the jalapeno flavor. I've used the garlic with cheese grits a few times. Not as strong on the garlic end as the Kraft was, but an acceptable substitute.

no.
Kraft discontinued it a year or two ago. But, there is some mexican type cheese roll/log that is similar.
