Would love to see that, or any Big 12 or Big 10 team.

We already rape Houston in recruiting so none of the big schools would allow that.

Maybe Les and Bo can work something out. LSU/Nebraska would be amazing. Yes, I know I can dream.

I actually think that game in Texas would make a good fit.

Meh, since we played OU in '03, I'd be much more interested in Texas. Now that'd be a game to see, but I know the Texas whimps don't want to.

i have never understood this thinking. like these kids dont know who LSU is: they dont have the internet or tvs. i mean we play on tv pretty much every week.

the "recruiting advantage" is a cop out excuse for not playing the game. esp with us and houston, we have already had alot of success, you would think schools in TX/bigXII country would be trying to beat us out of east TX, not ignoring us

Get in line. An avg high school team could beat them right now.

LSU also played Texas in the Cotton Bowl after the '04 season. Didn't turn out that well. Would be a great game but I doubt either school would be high on it, for recruiting purposes.

Notre Dame would be a pretty interesting opponent. And they would love to play a game in Texas...just not so sure they want to play LSU again.

True, none of the big schools in Texas would allow that...but who says it has to be a team from Texas?

Alabama and Clemson played in Atlanta last year, for example. Maybe it's a school that wants to expand their presence into Texas and is willing to do a high-profile neutral site game in order to do so.

Isn't Notre Dame set to play a game in San Antonio soon?

(PS-The new TAMU vs Arky series in Dallas probably keeps the Ags from being a target, IMO.)

ND is playing Wazzu in the Alamodome. I think thet are also playing Baylor in the Superdome in one of the upcoming seasons...and they have a trip to Dublin, Ireland scheduled again for the Navy game I believe. This barnstorming shite makes them think they are hot shite. In reality, it's just more exposure of the fraud that is Notre Dame football.

Speaking of Baylor, it IS a BCS team, and the neutral sites in that state range from San Antonio, Dallas, and Houston...just saying. I still think Okie State might be the route this could head.
