He does not want to end up like D Byrd with a sub-par draft stock. Thoughts?

He could have a career ending injury next year. Thats just something you dont know.

He hasn't made a choice yet.

His QB services will no doubt improve next year.
I think it's ALMOST a push, but there is probably a greater probability that staying next year results in MORE money than there is that it results in less IMO.

Yes and the QB situation has the potential to be again catastrophic

I thought he was undecided.
Anyway, I love for him to stay because I think he'll be one of the greatest LSU recievers of all time.
I personally think he;l benefit from saying another year, but I'm not putting my future on the line like he is.
He just needs to do what is right for him.

well I guess the draft does play in his hands this year with a weak core of wide receivers

As much as I would hate to see him go, it may sway RR's decision
He would potentially be the #2 receiver behind Tolliver

Once D Byrd does his forty yard dash his stock will rise again. It is a weak receiver draft and some big names might turn out a lot slower than expected.
La fell would make more money coming back but you never know about season ending injuries. Quarterback play will be better and to say anything is just being a flaming jackass.

As far as everyone knows, he is still undecided. He has until tomorrow, if i am not mistaken. Furthermore i am sure i can speak for most LSU fan's when i say, that most of us WANT HIM TO STAY HERE AT LSU!!!

D. Byrd was no lock to go super high last year. His high preseason projection was under the assumption that he'd have production this year.

Lafell is a beast, he reminds me of D Bowe. He will do well in the NFL, not as immediately as Bowe, but give him a few years to mature, he will be averaging 8-80.075td..that being said, he needs to return to LSU for another year and gain some 'maturity.'

he made the right choice by being undecided right now?

Yes, and the world has a potential to end tomorrow.

Stay or go. If a player wants to leave early for whatever reason, don't let the door hit you in the arse on the way out.

I don't understand the whole #1 receiver notion. There will be WR on the field on the #1 guy will be the one that the QB feels the most comfortable with. For MF last year it was D-Byrd. He was quiet this year because Lee went to Lafell all the time. When Jefferson started, his guy was Tolliver.

in the big picture, i hate to see these guys not make the big bucks while they can, too many things can go wrong. lock it down...
