These designer dogs are for the birds.
And yes, I understand the irony of a UGA fan posting this.

That’s 2 votes for purina pro plan. Guess I’ll look into it

Did you have a veterinarian look over the dog/ parents for health issues?
ETA: like most (if not all) terriers, be prepared to spend a lot of time/ money managing its allergies. We give our Boston terrier an allergy shot once a month.

Yeah, we’re on that. Any resources for that? Admittedly, I haven’t gone done the YouTube/internet rabbit hole just yet

100% they give $20 for the first order and routinely have $30 gift certificates when you spend $100 then it just applies to your next order.

- Purina Pro Plan is the food you should get
If he bought from a breeder I always use the food they recommend since they know their breed and bloodline.
Pro Plan is a good food it is 4 star rated on Dogfoodadvisor but there are higher rated foods that are cheaper like Victor and the upper level line from Diamond.

Crate train!!! If you are not holding or feeding or watching it sleep it needs to be in a crate. When it wakes up take it out to potty and tell it potty. When it plays for more than a few mins take it outside to potty. When it finishes eating take it outside to potty. Basically all the time take it outside to potty. Do not lock it inside anything but the crate with hopefully a bed or blanket that it doesn’t shred or chew. No water or food in the crate either. Don’t take it to petsmart or anywhere where other dogs pee or poo until it’s fully vaccinated for parvo. Ask breeder for the name of food and feed that until your vet says otherwise. Get lots of chew toys and babies for it so it doesn’t eat your stuff. Keep it on a leash and teach it manners on the leash. Use puppy training treats if that breed is driven by food.

A tired dog is a good dog.
Most all of the behavioral issues you will ever have will be because the dog isn’t getting enough time to be a dog and wear itself out.
Had a heeler that the only way to wear it out was to get on the four wheeler and let it run after me for four miles every day after work.

Buy green bag of Purina or yellow bag of Pedigree from Walmarks. Supplement with table scraps. Don't treat it like a human.

Feed your dog "food", not "dog food." Keep said "food" in the refrigerator. If your significant other insists it's "dog food" and asks why you have it in the fridge, throw them out of the house, then sit on the floor and eat with your dog.

Thanks. The breeder is in Dallas and the food she uses is something she gets locally. Wife said she doesn’t think we have it here but I’ll look into it. It can be ordered. Idk what it is but I find it odd that it’d be something I can’t find around here somewhere
