I posted a similar thought earlier and I tend to agree with you.

My bigger concern is the LB play, for which he is also the position coach, is abysmal. For a guy who coached LB in the league I would expect better play from them. That being said, it's hard to play LB when your d-line can't create some havoc for you.

All in all, I wouldn't be surprised to see him remain and the rest of the defensive staff get an overhaul (DB, DL coaches specifically) and he gets one more year to make it right.

I agree, but don’t think he’s been given complete control. I also remember what he pulled off year one without all the injuries

Let’s not pretend the defense last year was great. Sure it was better but still subpar by LSU standards.

We just don't have enough good players... and now we are missing 40% of the starters and the best ones at that.... tough row to hoe.

All of those are valid points.

Now, please comment on Wingo, Smith and Harold Perkins(until recently)

And, why no spy, at least for a series or to, against Bama. Milroe had not shown he could throw accurately with consistency, yet we don't make him beat us with that weakness? Nuts....

And, tell us about how his recruiting is going to fix the talent gap?

How long did it take Kelly to make that hire?

House can’t figure out how to use the personnel we have. Perkins disappeared and Weeks has been MIA. And let’s say it again: there’s been no improvement.

House needs to go.
Pennywise is stone cold crazy if he thinks Weeks isn't the most productive LB, even as a true freshman.

He's also miraculously neutered Perkins.

No man, not another year.

Pennywise (The House Clown) must go.

"Teppelini" must be destroyed!

I don’t think CBK is the type to react to single instances of failure.

Single instances or multiple games. The defense has been horrible. Results are ALL that matters. He better react to the multiple failures or we will continue to be 3rd or 4th in the west. Good chance next years offense is not going to match this years offense.

I don’t disagree.

Consider where we’d be without all of the injuries.

Excuses, every team has injuries. Imagine where we would be if we recruited better last year and utilized the portal better and coached up the players last spring and summer.

This is the only reason I think he cans House.

This quote says all i need to know about your inability to see how poorly coached the Defense has become.

The LSU defenses have sucked since the mass departures following the 2019 National Championship and I would not call the 2019 a stellar LSU defense by any means.

MUST get some new blood in BECAUSE of recruiting...Replace House and Cooks, hire a line coach ASAP
