It's funny how people want to shite on it for no reason, or some incorrect preconceived notion.

It would be like shitting on people who play rec softball, saying, "why don't you play baseball like a real athlete?".

I don't care what people do. I like table tennis fwiw.

But the ping-pong folks aren't making all the racket and taking over real tennis courts.

If the "real" tennis players would actually use their courts no one would be "taking" them away.

Play tennis.
I'm too old and I keep hitting the ball over the fence.

Team Joola

You can buy slightly used paddles off pickleball central. Also you can probably find a local brand ambassador who has a discount code.

I played pickle ball for 3+ hours as a groomsman for a wedding where several of the guys were SUPER into it and claimed to be good and play all the time.

Pretty sure I could’ve beat them all with a ping pong paddle, don’t know why you would spend $300 on one.

Get a Vatic Pro Prism Flash 16mm, it's $100.

Thanks for the recommendation. I ordered and should be here Tuesday. The Pickleball subreddit really likes this paddle for the price point.
