Was there with brother and his friend. SEZ upper bowl in corner away from press box.

I remember the TV timeout when teams were lining up for the kick off and the crowd just starting chanting LSU LSU!..it was super awesome..Uga thought they gave us the dagger and killed the crowd, but we just came back unphased.

Loudest game I have attended was 07 Florida. Loudest because it had the loudest moment and it wasn’t even associated to game play. When the announced during commercial that USC lost the whole place lost it. USC was seen as a team that would go
Undefeated based on a dog shite schedule and then they lose mid way through the 3rd quarter. Place went nuts! Deafening. We immediately go down by 10 I think. Busted play and Florida goes up 10 and you think it is over. Then we just begin feeding Hester and the noise builds. We knew if we won that game we would jump to #1. The post game on game day was awesome. Walking home tuned up and everyone celebrating was a great time of my life.

I was 21 at the time

Spent all day at the stadium and even the walk down the hill went down in lore. Hugely anticipated game that worked out in our favor!

My wife learned at that game. If it's a sellout and everybody gets up to cheer. Make sure you're the first one sitting back down.

A lot changed that afternoon

Yeah, LSU finally stepped through the threshold of “national title contender” and we have stayed there for the better part of the last 20 years.

I was there. Best day game ever. As someone else already mentioned, the LSU fans (and program) was hungry and giving everything to become one of the nation’s elite.

If you remember too, the media was all slobbering on UGA too. And being a 2:30 kickoff in TS was a death sentence. We broke that mold.

Continued…
OU was the greatest team in college football history too, so Jan 4, 2004 was a great cap on the season to what we all saw and believed. OU was a 6+ fav against us in the Dome.

Many of us have commented about this game and others. If you were there on that Saturday afternoon it was just different.
UGA touchdown - lsu chants
The mystic of tiger stadium was undeniable.
Lsu was a different brand from that day on.

Hard to believe it’s been 20 years.

Agreed. Uga scored to tie it up w less than 5 min left. (Forgot Uga had an 93 yd TD) Instead of getting quiet and folding up, the stadium got loud as f- before Georgia kicked off.
Went down scored/ won. A few weeks later, whenGeorgia was supposed to right the ship, and get revenge, we destroyed them. Glorious

After the Browning TD one of the people I went with says “most big kick returns happen after a long TD” Devery proceeds to return the kickoff to midfield and the rest is history. Program changing game.

I was there.
That game kick started the Saban era.

Was it the loudest?
No. Top ten for sure.

It was way up there when Skyler Green caught his TD.

Was in south end zone and my then 3 year old son was laying across my seats sleeping while we went apeshit.

On the list but not the loudest.

Tyson Browning 93-yd TD with under 5 mins to play really sucked the wind out of the stadium

Not how I remember it.

I remember the stadium yelling "LSU! LSU! LSU!" as if there was confidence that LSU would respond.
