Student section. First and only game my friends and I painted our chests. We were sitting in one of those little boxes above the tunnel and when Skylar scored the pandemonium caused me to almost fall over the rail and my buddy had to grab me by my shorts to pull me back up…completely mooning a large contingency of fellow students.

One of the greatest moments of my life.

My first in-person game.

Hell of a start.

I remember it well.

Bama last year is the loudest I’ve heard. Hands down.

UGA ‘03
Florida ‘07
Auburn ‘07

Those are the next 3 I can remember, in order.

It was very loud but I thought the Florida 2007 game was louder. I was blessed to attend both of those games.

Green was absolutely electric as a freshman and sophomore. The bubble screen he scored on vs Arkansas in 2002 is one of the most explosive plays I’ve ever seen. He reached another gear that was just absurd to watch.

Best game ever for many reasons. Huge marquee matchup. Brothers bachelor party in New Orleans and we took limo to game and then headed back to NO for epic night in an RV in a non descript parking lot downtown. Wild weekend.

“I'd like to know the 4 games louder than this one”

Well, it’s all opinion. I still have USC in 79 as the loudest. The 97 and 07 Florida games are also in there.

Student section. Elbowed my buddy in the mouth and nose celebrating. Blood everywhere but he didn’t give a crap and probably didn’t feel a thing from the bourbon. Great game.

Single greatest busted play in LSU history. I heard that was the loudest game ever in Tiger Stadium. Were you there?

That was my first ever game in Tiger Stadium. Cemented my love forever.

Speaking of the 2003 team, what game will they be honoring them for the 20 year reunion/celebration? I’d probably pick the Auburn game, or maybe Arkansas since that win sealed the SEC West title.

and UGA scores on 93 yard screen pass to tie it 10-10. TV timeout and Tiger Stadium erupts with L-S-U chant.

The most underrated moment in Tiger Stadium history. Never gets mentioned, but this is a corner turner with the fans away from the “brook trout look” and it was organic.

It’s been announced, it’s the Florida game. Kinda ironic.

I don't have anywhere near the data the actually know an answer to this. I was there, and was also at a lot of contenders for that title (Earthquake, '97 Florida, '79 SC) and I can't say it wasn't the loudest game. I can guarantee it wasn't the loudest moment (Earthquake Game), but it could hold the record for loudest sustained noise.

The thing that I loved most about it was that the sustained crowd noise during the TV timeout after UGA's long TD pass was the first time Death Valley had really felt like the Death Valley of old (pre-dark ages). The thing that I don't love so much is it kind of is the last time it felt like that. But I think that is an issue beyond LSU and LSU football.

I was a freshman, didn't have a ticket, and got stuck in traffic on Chimes Street by where the Bayou was til long after the game ended; long story short, I could hear the stadium from there, and listened to it on the radio.
