What’s your favorite?!?
Add one or two or three

Mine is
Dexys Midnight Runners- Come On Eileen
Probably somewhere in my top 100 favorite songs if I had a list

I was just thinking about this the other day. Probably a couple for me but I am not sure they are technically 1 hit wonders because they had other singles also chart but not very high. Of that is also true for Dexys Midnight Runners.

My entries are

Looking Glass - Brandy (You're a Fine Girl)

Mountain - Mississippi Queen (Official Music Video)

ETA:

Midnight Oil - Beds Are Burning

I like Beds are Burning, it's basically about the Aboriginal People in Australia. It's hard not to sympathize with how they were treated but nobody is "giving back" anything to them. But yeah, I could see them going off the deep end with all that.

Some favorites of mine are Johnny Hates Jazz' "Shattered Dreams," and Level 42's "Something About You."

It's always weird when an artist creates an absolute banger of a song, then the rest of their output is pure shite. Like, how were you able to get your shite together enough to create magic at least once?

Probably barely breathing by Duncan Shiek. Just encapsulated some mid 90’s summers in the back seat coming home from pool parties and stuff with a parent driving.

Flagpole sitta - Harvey danger
Counting blue cars - dishwalla
The Freshmen - verve pipe
That thing you do - Oneeders
