His story is pretty interesting. I wish he has stayed with Squeeze longer.

I know he had other hit songs, but here's a de facto one-hit wonder:

RICK ASTLEY-- Never Gonna Give You Up. That's his only song that anyone remembers.

that's because it was turned into a meme.

If you grew up in the 80s there was like a new Rick astley hit every couple months.

Hendrix was not a one hit wonder.
His first two albums, alone, had a bunch of well-respected songs. I don’t know how many were released as singles, if that’s what you mean.

Electric Avenue -Eddy Grant

Actually Eddy Grant wasn't technically a one-hit wonder. Does anyone remember this pop-rock masterpiece from 1968, featuring a dreadlock-free Eddy Grant?

Unique thing is that their singer had hits with multiple bands as well as solo. All pretty great too. Tempted, Silent Running, Living Years, Don't Shed a Tear.

Had no idea Paul Carrack was the lead singer for Ace. My dad was a big fan of Mike and the Mechanics, takes me back to being a kid in the 80's

Probably the only song in rock history with a xylophone instrumental break!
