Start Money and let the chips fall. A 15-11 win is still a win.

We can start you and Southern or Grambling wouldn't score 11.

They had an inordinate number of opportunities for web gems in that game and converted all of them.

It was lightning in a bottle. I wouldn’t expect it again.
People that don't agree with this didn't watch the game.

Nichols SS is really fricking good.

I watching him live twice this year against McNeese...

He made that awesome catch against LSU and a few plays last night to keep McNeese at bay.

Tulane is one win away (and can lose one) from playing in the AAC championship game.

Off topic but I didn't think it merited its own thread on tRant... Aaron Fitt of D1Baseball says he expects Saturday & Sunday to both be wash outs at the ACC Tournament in Durham, NC

Nicholls is 1 win away from the NCAA Tournament

(1) Colonels knock off (4) New Orleans 5-3 to advance to tomorrow's Southland Conference Tournament Finals

I was pulling for the Privateers, but it looks like we are guaranteed a Louisiana team out of the Southland at this point.

Grambling is 2-0 in the SWAC, and Southern is trying to stave off elimination as I type. Down 7-6 in the Top of the 8th, with the Jags batting with 1 out and runners at the corners.

Cador is still a blast to listen to as he’s doing the call. Can watch the game for free on YouTube.

I still think they could send Nicholls somewhere else. They’ll likely be 2 regionals in Alabama plus Southern Miss is on the bubble as a possible host too.

I could see Grambling in BR if they win the SWAC with Nicholls at USM or Bama.

Three of the best position players are local. 2 ED White kids and a Terrebonne Tiger.

Mayers, their ace, is a freshman from Gonzales.

I’m sure Silva will be getting some interest from bigger schools.

If Grambling wins, they’ll be in BR. Easy win for the Tigers. Could probably send Buckham to start if they wanted to, but I would start Money against Grambling. Nicholls is a much better team than Grambling.

Tulane making a run in their tournament too makes it interesting for them to be in BR regional

Southland Tournament Final - (1) Nicholls vs. (4) New Orleans

Privateers must beat the Colonels twice while Nicholls only has to win once to claim the Southland Conference Championship

ETA: New Orleans came to the plate in the top of the 9th against Northwestern State down 3-2 and scored 5 runs to earn their spot in the Final

Bethune-Cookman is up 9-2 in the fourth so this scenario is most likely dead, unfortunately. It's gonna be Nicholls as the 4.

Yeah, Grambling is done. They’re not coming back from a 11-2 deficit, although I watched Moo U come back when they were down 9 runs. Tulane is probably done as well. I don’t see them beating Houston tonight. They’ve had a good tournament so far though.
