What would you like to know? The information always provided here is made up and has no backing. I live the WNBA everyday and know that post like this are always very funny and wrong. My wife works for the WNBA.

And they wonder why nobody likes the WNBA

I’ve heard plenty of people shite all over the WNBA but never has it been because of teams waiving 2nd round picks.

That’s why every Good player playing on a Top 10 team especially at LSU, UCONN, USCe, IOWA, Tennessee should exhaust every second of their eligibility, Covid yr, and any other inkling of time they have. Reese and others such as Flauje’ HVL, will NEVER make$ as much or be more famous or recognized as they will be for the next 2 years at LSU. Even the 5 Top WNBA All Stars are not well known more than LSUs women’s team. Cat Clark is the only player in college that will excel in this WNBA and it’s not questionable. I love basketball college both boys & girls, tournament in MBB is one of the best sporting events in NCAA sports. WBB at LSU is the only wbb I watch (I’ll admit if winning only) and the MBB program at LSU is on life support and SW has pull the plug when he fired Wade(love him or hate him) his teams gave hope and put butts in the seats. I’ve never seen a WNBA game ever.

What is the team salary cap? $1.3 m?

What is the league minimum?

How much does a team's best player make? 2nd best player?

Maybe before there's any more complaining about player wages and league expansion, there should be more focus on getting that fixed.

It’s like that because men are better, and the women having to practice against men makes them better. Right?

Facts from the article posted: The WNBA can not afford practice players. In fact, the WNBA limits actual roster size to a maximum of 12 and a minimum of 11. And yes, bizarrely enough, the minimum limit comes into play as some teams choose to go with less players in order to pay individual players more.

WNBA payroll article

Common sense facts: The reason they have this payroll problem is because they are subsidized by the NBA and the WNBA would not exist (at least in not its current form) in a true market economy.

Just wow. All male practice squads.

How would a true market economy prevent the NBA from subsidizing the WNBA?

Allow me to rephrase. Without being subsidized by another league, the WNBA in its current form would not exist.

"What is the team salary cap? $1.3 m?"
This is wrong information.

"What is the league minimum?"
If you are talking about the league minimum it's $1,188.990.

"How much does a team's best player make? 2nd best player?"
Well it depends on the market but remember they don't pay for housing nor any food, plus the money is in sponsorships so the top tier will clear $800,000 to $1,000,000 when all is said and done.

The best thing about the WNBA are the fights! Women get pissed!

WNBA teams can have 12 players on a roster, but teams are actually allowed to have 11 if they want.

So a max of 144 players... and 36 in a draft. So 25%.

The NBA allows 15 players per roster... so a max of 450 players... and drafts 60. So 13.3%... plus... NBA teams can each have two two-way players.

So NBA teams can basically have 17 players under their control... and WNBA teams 12... yet WNBA has an extra draft round.

What's funny is I think the current form is holding the game back.
