Man, womens basketball is an emotional game. They get mad and cut a lady real quick.

Pretty sure LSU has a male-only practice squad.

Many teams do, Mulkey did at Baylor also.

That’s a very common thing in WBB. LSU WBB has a male practice squad

I think they call them the "Dream Team".

That doesn't solve the problem (of minimal support and revenue). That increases the problem

If the NBA is fine losing money on it, they obviously are since they've been doing it for 25 years, then it's not a problem at all.

Maybe they can allow each team to have 2 additional roster spots since they are so few teams. Might give a better chance of girls staying on a team after they get drafted

It’s like that because men are better, and the women having to practice against men makes them better. Right?

No, the The collective bargaining agreements for both the NBA and WNBA don’t allow non-contract players to practice with teams. No one can claim the men will be future WNBA players.

Why aren’t there more teams? These women deserve to play.

Most years the male practice squad goes undefeated, this year the LSU male squad went winless. Rumor is McLoser was coaching it and the players were our actual men’s team

I doubt they want to lose more money on the WNBA

The WNBA doesn't generate the revenue to exist. The NBA ha to pay tens (hundreds?) of millions of dollars every year to subsidize the WNBA. Adding more teams would make the NBA have to pay more, and they're not going to do that.

Yea not sure how that is even a question. The WNBA can’t have more teams unless the NBA wants more losses

The players make beans, so I'm guessing civilian support staff are basically volunteers?

What would you like to know? The information always provided here is made up and has no backing. I live the WNBA everyday and know that post like this are always very funny and wrong.
so what’s your claim exactly, that OP is full of shite and Alexis Morris wasn’t waived? that the draft isn’t a sham where the majority of those drafted don’t get waived? What’s being fibbed about?

so awesome to have a WNBA insider to set this board straight! You hear that baws, our insider apparently is claiming Alexis Morris wasn’t waived after all

that’s awesome that you and your wife do charity work

The sad reality of the WNBA draft

LSU's Alexis Morris has been cut by WNBA's Connecticut Sun, the team that drafted her

Oh wait, turns out you don’t know shite
