Idk. I live in FL and after talking to some gator fans I know, they seem to be in the middle of a dumpster fire.

That Gator roster last year was gutted. Richardson is an above average athlete, but skilled players are thin with no depth.

4-3 through that stretch should be the floor.

Aub - this is a dumpster waiting to blow up.

Sure seems like it. But then again, Auburn seems to have a history of having an unexpected great season just when it looks like the program is about to implode

quote:

Tenn - “much improved” does not say much as they have been poo for a while now. This is one of those …you better be ready because the SEC will chew you up….type of games.

They return probably one of the two or three top QB's in the SEC (based upon last year's performance) and have brought in a bit more talent than in prior years. Yet, we've seen this before. They won't be able to surprise anyone in year 2

quote:

Fla - Until Napier does something positive, I have no faith in him. However, Florida is a talented team that will get you if you are not ready.

Florida is essentially LSU's eastern mirror image. Too much talent to be as bad as they were last season. The game being in Gainesville should give Florida an edge. But its reasonable to believe LSU has the better coaching staff to potentially mitigate that edge.

quote:

Miss - under Kiffin they will score, but do they have the Joes to be consistent on offense or defense? Not yet.

Agreed

quote:

Ark - Well coached team that is not yet very talented.

Pittman is Coach O...if O was smart enough to know he shouldn't be dictating the on-field scheme/approach. Arkansas has earned the respect of the top of the league. So what happens when the top the league now takes the challenge seriously? (Georgia game from last year?)

quote:

a$m - talent is there….can jimbo do something with it? His history says, no.

We watched A&M struggle to put away (2020) and lose (2021) to LSU's two worst teams in two decades. Until it is clear A&M is clearly better than LSU, I'm not ready to concede this game as a loss

They have the Joes, it's the Jimmies that they lack.

LSU doesn't have a single game in the SEC that's an automatic win. Nobody on the schedule is a creampuff. FSU even did some good moves in the portal and it's coaches head on chopping block now so that's another better be ready game. First game under BK will all this chemistry coming together they could give us a much bigger fight than LSU fans are giving credit for. They were shite last year so were we. They made some good moves like us in the portal.

Tenn, OM, and Texa&M will all take astep back from last season. Ark and Auburn havent done anything to improve greatly, and who knows about florida. Bama will be tough as long as Saban is hanging around. 6-1 in that stretch is doable.

Its pretty up in the air how good LSU will be also, but it looks like lots of positive changes since last season....

Just wait until Texas, and Oklahoma are added into the rotation. We need to add 4 from the ACC just for some respite.

ETA: put me down for 5-2 through that stretch. Good coaching gets us through.

Florida will likely be terrible this year, but there's this belief that Napier will be their saviour. And this is a road game for LSU and Gainesville, like Auburn is always tough on the Tigers.

Why is Miss State mysteriously missing from that buzzsaw? Leach's offenses have had incredible success in two seasons v the Tigers.

Yep and its reported that the SEC conference wants to add more teams not just stop with Okie Sooners and Texas Horns. Supposedly Florida state has been talking with both SEC and Big10 conferences about joining

Don’t forget about FSU! They should be a tough one for BK!

FSU went 5-7 last year.

FSU lost to Jacksonville State last year at home.

Brian Kelly let that incredibly talented team take him to OT!

Swap #2-#3 UGA for UT and you have LSU's '18 schedule. Games will be played in same venues even. Tigers finished #6 in the polls that year. Welcome to the SEC west my partner.

Sports Illustrated predicts LSU will go 6-6.

You think you’ll get your only 6 wins in that stretch?

Not getting 6 Ws in those 6 games, but 8-4 looks realistic overall.
