Elijah Craig’s rye is finally available in LA. I am not typically a rye fan, but found this to be a great bang for the buck.

Great recs. Here’s from my experience

Value ~$20 Rittenhouse
Mid level value ~$60 Rare Breed Rye
Upper Level ~$99 Angels Envy Rye

I’m trying sagamore next. Been meaning to.

Angel's Envy Rye seems kind of on target in this situation.

In the $60 range. Wilderness Trail Rye.

Martin's carries it. Highly recommend going there and asking for recs too.

Lock Stock & Barrel rye is the best I've ever had. The 13-year in the black bottle is good, but the 18-year is the best (although expensive).

Michters or Wilderness Trail. Michters is pretty easy to find.

I know nothing about this - I am sure Sixth And Barone will chime in.

Only if you mention bacon, nitrates, pork belly, cure, etc.
Those are the keywords.

Angel's Envy Rye

It's too perfect of a situation to pass up this opportunity.

Fantastic. I also second Willet. Either of those two will be thoroughly enjoyed, and both fall around the $50 mark

A few good ryes listed by price point:

Bulleit $25
Pinhook Green Bottle $35
Willett 4 Year $50
Wild Turkey Rare Breed $60
Barrel Seagrass $90

I enjoy all of the above but Willett might be my favorite.
