Why is there no luxury airline option?

Seems like there would be a market for upper middle class if you created an airline with reduced seating, more leg room, bigger seats, bigger bathrooms, better drink/food service. I think a sizeable amount of people would pay more for this to have a better flying experience. Say take out the middle seat and widen the other 2 seats. 2/3 capacity, more comfort, don’t worry about getting stuck between fatties

Buy two SWA seats. Boom.

There are. Mostly international.
I know there is an all first class shuttle between New York and London daily.
(Pre covid)
Most middle eastern airlines are luxurious.

No one trying to pay $1000 on a 3 hour plane ride.
Upper middle class are upper middle for a reason.

Yea I know that I just meant flights across the country say from Atlanta to Vegas

Yea try pulling that off with no assigned seating. Never happen

Why do you care? You’re far too poor to ever ride on a luxury airline. You probably fly Spirit.

I'm looking to sell my Citation XLS+. It has plenty of leg room.

There are options. But most people price shop for flights, and as mentioned, shy away from paying three times the amount for a flight than they can find elsewhere.
JSX airlines flies to several destinations out of Dallas. Destin/Vegas/LA.
Smaller plane, just one first class style seat on each side of the aisle. Board from the airport FBO, so no security and 1.5 hour lead time.
Prices aren’t completely unreasonable.
You just aren’t going to find that option on Expedia.

That’s called JetBlue. Greatest coach I’ve ever ridden in (OT poor). Only thing about JetBlue, they don’t fly anywhere from Nee Orleans except NYC and a few other places.

Surely sounds like first class offered on most major airlines…..

Aero
I fly semi-private when I go snowboarding. It’s really not that expensive, and the perks are insane.
Eta: I mean, semi-private is the only thing I can think of that would a step up from 1st class, but a step down from a PJ.

British Airways had a flight for a while between New York and London that was all business class, not sure if they still are doing it.
Singapore airlines also had something similar.

Emirates, over seas has wild configurations. But services like net jets and aero fill the gap. With things being online and price sensitive, the Sun Country flight is gonna end up winning out.
