Thomas (Paul) Conover.
Read the captions. This guy is a real villain, worthy of months of solitary confinement.

This shite ain't going to fly around here. Some body has a broken sarcasm meter and it is affecting their judicial judgment.

That there are two tiers of Justice in the US.
Taking selfies in the Capitol= Bad
Tearing down Statues, Looting and Burning=Good

I think you might be leaving out a few key details there.

His color? His likely party affiliation? The lack of fires or destruction?
Posted on 12/8/21 at 1:54 pm to RollTide1987
Wait. I thought trespassing was allowed when protesting? Oh, never mind, that is all dependent on who are the protestors and what they are protesting. #KenoshaBurns

Taking selfies in the Capitol is not a crime. Breaking in and doing so is. I think you know this, because you can’t give any reason why what he did was ok without using the words BLM/riots/race. Both can be wrong, and one going unpunished doesn’t mean the other should as well. The BLM riots don’t give the rest of the country carte blanche to do whatever they want for the rest of time just because those rioters didn’t get what they deserved.

It's outrageous that they charged this guy with anything.

Sure I can. All he did was walk around the Capitol. In fact, a large majority of the "insurrectionists" were ushered in by Capitol Police. No one who was waved in by police and just walked around the building did anything wrong on Jan 6.

This is wrong. If we are not afforded equal protection under the law, our system fails.

I mean, he admits to “storming the Capitol” in his own words. But even putting that aside, anyone who saw what was going on that day and though it was totally ok to just waltz on in and join the party is in a completely different class of stupidity. From looking at this guy, I’m not going to say it’s impossible that he really is that stupid of a person, and if that’s the case, I’d suggest his court appointed attorney argue that he is not mentally fit to stand trial.

Did this person "break in," or was he part of the large contingent that was waved in by Capitol Police?

Agreed...but until the first gets punished I have zero interest in seeing these guys punished. the thing about claiming "whataboutism" is that it's basically just a way to get away with a thing while punishing others for the same thing. Were it not for the riots which took place most of the summer and fall of 2020, no one would be able to point to them as examples of why what took place on January 6th as minor in comparison.

It kind of did though...unless you're expecting two sets of rules.

He will eventually leave the thread without saying anything.
