Not tailgate and just stay at the bar watching other games because ATM sucked.

People would pre-party at dorms or at someone's house if I recall correctly. Tailgating has exploded since I graduated in '02 though.

We used to have our games at 11:00 or 2:30 mostly. Wasn't a lot of time to tailgate. Theyre at 6:30 now.

At about the same time the city of CS outlawed drinking outside the bars at Northgate. People that pregamed would do it at the bars.

Now they tailgate. Tailgaters brought more Tailgaters which brought more Tailgaters. Now it's pretty big.

And Drfood its very spread out. Spence Park outside the stadium is packed as well as Olsen's parking lot, the parking lots at Reed arena, and west campus especially Kleburg and Heep parking lots. Some even tailgate at the vet school

At that time we partied VERY hard after the games. It was a exodus from Kyle to Northgate and the partying lasted all night. But the bars couldn't handle that now since you can't drink outside anymore

I like our current setup better though

That's lame as shite. Lexington has loosened up the open container laws, and most of last football season, when the Wold Equestrian Games were in town, you could have an open container anywhere downtown. It was awesome.

Its is the ugliest major college campus I have visited, IMO and I've visited many.

It would definitely be the least attractive in the SEC. Even Tennessee's is prettier.

Its like a giant office park. Big thoroughfares, lots of concrete, flat as a pancake and sparsely treed.

I've visited several times, including this April.

So, it is a spitting image of Houston and Dallas?

First, ATM is one of the most redneck, goober schools in the US and Texas - TT a close second. On football days, it is a big time, roudy atmosphere. The campus if not traditional southern with magnolias, live oaks, and crape myrtals. If they come to the SEC I would like to see an annual Sabine River War played at Reliant. This would help LSU recruiting more than anything.

I don't like the idea of taking big games from Tiger Stadium.

I'm not for it, but if A&M/LSU played in Houston, I always thought the game should be called
