Ok so my thread got whacked but I understand its all good but I'll post it here also:
I say 2 conference sides but have a 4 team division in each. Like this:
West: Division 1: Lsu Arky A&M Missouri
Division 2: Ole miss State Auburn Bama
East: Division 1: Florida Florida State Georgia Tennessee
Division 2: Vandy Uk Clemson Usc
Now for scheduling I say you play your divisional teams so that's 3 games then you play 2 teams from each division so that's 6 more. For a total of 9 conference games.
So that way you don't go like 8 years without playing a team from the other division.
Ya'lls thoughts?
And if it's already been said shoot me I don't care...

More and more looking as if TAMU to the SEC is a done deal. Slive I think already has a feel for who the 14th team will be....he's gotta if they are voting on TAMU...makes no sense to go to just 13. Will USCe Prez want Clemson? Will the Gators Prez want FSU? going to be some interesting voting I think when they do in fact hold it. I dont see FSU jumping and I dont see Clemson either. Gonna be a dark horse team IMHO ...Georgia Tech or Louisville are my thoughts. Both good to solid programs in football and basketball and both geographically make sense....though the Presidents may blackball GT for leaving the SEC years ago

So Im seeing that if the SEC can't find a 14th, Presidents will just vote against A&M.

Pretty much a done deal from what I have seen and heard.
I know it's kinda gay, but I've been told the students did the SEC SEC chant at graduation yesterday when Bowen Loften stood to hand out the diplomas. I know...gay, but we're excited about this move. It's not about sticking it to the homos in Asstin. We're not afraid (and want) to play against the best.

I heard just the opposite. The TV money is too good. From what Billy Liucci tweeted, Slive will be willing to take A&M and run 13 teams until next year when they can add another team. The number one candidate is FSU, according to ESPN (take that for what it's worth. Liucci is usually dead on right, but ESPN?).

ESPN is now reporting A&M an absolute done deal and FSU is in serious talks with SEC for several months.
