I just want an expansion board. I think this is pretty exciting stuff but it needs a board not called the SECr.
And I hate this new UF, UGA, USC alliance. I hope we betray them. There, I sad it.

This addition will probably get done but I am hoping it doesn't simply because to me anything over 12 teams is too much. Is the reason simply money? If it is prestige I don't think the SEC has ever had more prestige then now. If this happens I can easily see the whole nation going to 4 major conferences (Pac 16, Big 16, ACC and SEC) and all mid majors might as well go to 1-AA or whatever the he'll it is called now.

If a deal gets done, it will be in ANTICIPATION of the other conferences quickly following suit.
The last time it took 20 years. The Pac and the B1G have yet to play their first CCG.
The SEC needs to slow the frick down.

I wanted VA Tech but in order for it to work I'd like Clemson. Both them or FSU could hurt us but I think CU would less. And we're rivals so that'd be fun.

This is all being driven by money from TV contracts. nothing else If Texas wasnt intent on bending the rest of the Big 12 over,this wouldnt be happening. If A&M comes, it will be to open the Houston and Dallas TV markets. Same thing for the 14th team think of someone on the east that would open a new tv market, FSU doesnt fit the bill that well (Tallahassee isnt even a minor market) You would have to go north to get new markets, so think west virginia or Virginia Tech. Time will tell

I hate the SEC as well, but SCe doesn't want Clemson in and UGA and UF don't want FSU in, so it makes good sense that all agree to help the other schools out. I could care less as a fan who gets in.

UGA would become irrelevant quickly in the SEC East if FSU comes in. FSU takes the place of UT and UGA each year in talks of an East Champion.
