It's cool, longhorns. We just wanted you to look like pussies to the whole world. Mission accomplished.

And, let this sink in....

Scoreboard... your house.......forever.....

Merry Christmas, motherfrickers.

Once they get over being butthurt I'm sure they'll see the benefit of that game as a regular ocurrance.

Yep. They bitched, complained, moaned, etc.

They are out from under the shadow.

Yet now, they are pissed because UT won't play them? Maybe this is UT saying "frick you, good luck against Moo State and Ole Piss, and don't let the door hit you on the way out."

This.

Also, A&M will be losing half of their 8-9 games/yr in the state of TX by this change in conference.
They want OOC games in TX.

Ask Baylor

After aggy blows big leads to Arky and the Pokes, they feel pretty damn confident they will even have the opportunity to run it up on Texas.

They SHOULD win...but I will laugh pretty hard if UT goes into Kyle and takes home a victory.

I don't think it will be 2018 before the schools play again.

It may take a year or two but eventually the legislature will start asking questions and tu will be encouraged to schedule aTm.

Some of the other states required at least the threat of legislative action before agreeing to play on a regular basis.

Even with that, A&M is still wanting to play them. So that shows A&M isn't afraid of competition

Unless we play every SEC game on the road, this is stupid. Home games in College Station are centrally located between DFW, Houston, Austin and San Antonio. Arkansas will remain in JerrahWorld... so if the SEC goes to a nine game schedule, we are guaranteed to have 5 conference games in Texas. Are you saying we will play all away games for our OOC? Because that still wouldn't put us below 5 games in the state of Texas every year, plus possibly a bowl game.

If we play 2/1 OOC, we end up with 7 games in the state of Texas every year for momma to watch their boy play. Not to mention that parts of East Texas are closer to Baton Rouge than College Station, so they can travel to that game too. We give up two crappy home games against Iowa State/KSU/KU that nobody cares about, and gain marquee games like LSU, Alabama, Auburn, etc. in return.

Even if you are correct and we need more "Texas games", Baylor and Tech will chew their arms off to play us again in a home and home.

I'm glad Powers did this, and I want to play them every year. Why?

Because when the Big XII jumps back to 12... they will have an 8 game conference schedule, and then the game returns.

They have the defense to keep them in most games...and the offense to keep them out of any game not involving Iowa State or Kansas in conference.

Well that's different in regards that Miami isn't a public institution like UF and FSU.
