Home-Home-Neutral game at Reliant Stadium(so every three years math majors) with TAMU?

Houston is pretty much the hub of the TAMU-LSU rivalry, anyone else in favor of this?

I doubt A&M would be in favor of giving LSU that much Houston exposure without some reciprocation. Maybe something like home-super dome-home-reliant.

If A&M is going to give up a home game every two years in the Arkansas game, there's no way they're going to be playing any other conference games at neutral locations.

we'll take a look at that.

i favor school stadiums first.

but reliant and super dome could be included every other year.

but to only do it at reliant, NO.

I only want 1 neutral site game. I'd rather it be LSU in Houston for selfish reasons, but more than 1 neutral site game in conference would be way too much and I doubt we do it. I'd much rather have no neutral site games than 2.

in the future, perhaps.

but it's in everyone's best interest to jumpstart as much rivalry with other schools as quick as possible. The best way to do that is to play at each schools respective home field for a while to build that up. I dont think neutral sites offer much to a team in a new conference

Do it at Reliant every year!

I'm biased though since I live in Houston now.

I think it would sell out and it would be awesome for both teams. The national exposure would be huge.

frick that.

Home and home.

If they want to play their home game in Houston, they can do that.

Of course, it would suck for those that live in BR. But looking at it just based on business and expanding your recruitment base and viewership, I think it would be smart to look at doing it in Houston every year or do what the OP suggested.

Oklahoma and Texas have done this for a while and it seems to have worked for them.

I'd rather play LSU at Reliant than Arkansas at Jerry World. I have never set foot in Jerry World, but that place is downright sterile on television. The announcers went on and on about the crowd noise during Oregon/LSU, but I couldn't hear it on TV. I just remember a bunch of stupid D-Bags in some bar below ground level "watching the game" with their heads 18" above the carpet.

Either one would be great for aTm. But the amount of LSU fans in Houston would probably make that game the best neutral site game in the whole nation.

Jerryworld is not a lively game atmosphere at all.The place is pretty cavernous and sound just gets lost in there. I've been to Texans games at Reliant that have been very loud by pro game standards, so it could definitely have a good atmosphere. I would still rather do home and home with both, or if need be finish the contract with Arkansas at Jerryworld. On campus games are a lot more fun, even if I would have to travel to Baton Rouge every other year instead of having it just down the road.

Been to Jerry World alot. Not a bad seat in the house. But prefer Reliant as a venue.

I'd play A&M in Houston every year. But I wouldn't want a home-away-Reliant-home-away-Reliant rotation.

This. It would be better than the RR game.

Home and home.

It would be a shame to not utilize two of the best gameday atmospheres in football!

I have VERY fond memories of my roadtrips to death valley in the early 90's.

Not only does LSU travel really well, but Houston is a huge LSU town. I could easily see just LSU filling Reliant for a home game there. New Orleans not so much for A&M. Anyone think the Aggies would fill half of the Dome every few years?

Well I'd rather not have to go to fricking College Station. Guess what? I win
