Seriously, though, Leach is a very forward thinking offensive guy, but he never quite got a handle on putting together a true team on both sides of the ball. He also has no interest in doing the PR part of the job, and I can't see that going over well at any SEC school (if you aren't willing to suck up to the big money boosters, you aren't going to last long unless you've already got a statue of yourself in front of the stadium).

Leach was highly regarded by A&M, always seen as the high point of a school not deserving of his coaching talent.

I could have told you in the 90's that LSU would never again win a NC, and I'd look pretty stupid sitting here in 2011. Prior to that, your last NC was 1958, ours was 1939. Stone age no matter how you look at it.

Leach to Ole Miss would be interesting to watch.

I'd be fine with it though. Pinkel was 3-1 vs. Leach and the only loss was in 2002 when Pinkel was just starting to turn the Missouri program back around.

The three wins weren't even close with scores of 41-10, 38-21, and 62-31.

Are there any SEC East teams that are interested in Leach? An extra win each year wouldn't hurt.
