I would have liked him to have come to LSU, but it ain't worth all of this bitching that he went to UT.
Move on to the next coach on the list.
My biggest complaint right now is with the LSU fans who were perfectly happy with making fun of UT folks and their behavior when it looked like O was coming here, then turning around and acting like the same kind of jackasses when it was announced he was going to UT.

Well the UT fans were making fun of LSU for paying O so much money and now they're going to pay him even more. This whole thing has been an epic CF.

I hope the hell not. Let UT have O, our recruiting classes are stellar and there are equal to and much better DL coaches out there to be had. No big loss to begin with.

What about Henson?. He is the recruiting coordinator. What was he going to do? He only had the # 1 class coming in this year. I'd be pissed if I were him.

We didn't need O for our recruiting, we needed him so he didn't help other SEC teams recruiting. That being said, UT is in the East so we don't have to worry about them every year and they won't be able to steal many recruits, if any from LA. O didn't do it at Ole Piss and he won't do it at UT. If anyone does it will be Saban. We'll be fine without him and UT will probably recruit well with him.

I honestly cant fight the feeling that we got played as a leverage tool for tenn. If he was so adamant about his desire to stay in state that deal is beyond fair. I honestly doubt his sincerity about allowing bygones with LSU.

I hope O goes and helps build UT back up, that way Alabama will have a tough east opponent every year just like we do with Florida.

recruiting coordinator is more of an administrative gig, it's not like henson is out there chumming the water and reeling in the big fish for LSU. That is actually Lane, Peveto and Miles doing
