No problems here man. That was a half-assed shot at Max for flaming the Vols when we all thought O was a Tiger.

the point is that I wouldn't place much stock in criticism of a coach's performance in the NFL when it comes to a college hire. College football is full of coaches who are doing quite well despite unsuccessful NFL careers.

I believe that O would have improved our D line play and would have improved our already solid recruiting efforts. There are other good coaches out there. But having a former SEC head coach, who can recruit and who had success coaching DL at Miami and USC, as our DL coach could only be viewed as a positive.

Rumor started that the former DL coach for the Broncos may get a look. A LA native I believe.

Didn't denver had a shitty DL past couple of years. they were terrible against the run this year, just abysmal

the story is on nola.com, but it is not a direct quote of Peyton as I recall.

Yeah, let the MF go on up to Tennessee if he's that stupid and that greedy that a few bucks will sway his decision. Probably wont gel with Chavis anyway, so it may be better in the long run. I just hope that Miles doesn't panic now and hire another one of those "Great Recruiter/Poor Coach" types to coach the DL........

Yes, that sure is different than some fans slamming a coach. I mean this comes right from the head man himself. That carries a LOT more weight.
