Delaney is an idiot.

But things are moving forward. He said a few months ago that he wanted to add a 12th team and a conference title game.

Slowly but surely the Big Ten will accept a playoff. Just like the Pac Ten and Big Ten slowly accepted the BCS

That's good to hear, because then and only then, can we put all of this "mine is bigger than yours" nonsense to bed the way it should be put to rest---with a championship decided on the field, and not by writers, computers, AD's and Conference Commissioners.....

Unfortunately, it won't matter to LSU because we'll still be stuck with Les Miles. Damn, I thought the Michigan gig was our chance to get rid of this clown.

Les will be bitter about not being offered and take it out on every opponent we play from now on.

Sure.

I talked to Rich Brooks, Saban, Nutt, Tubberville, and Urban Meyer today. They're all concerned about what Less will have up his sleeve next year.

What a conundrum for Michigan...to have to choose between Less and Kirk Ferentz.

Skip must be making some extra cash on the side as a UM consultant.

Les doesn't want the job. He wants to stay here. End of story.

Not sure if this is supposed to be some insult.

It's supposed to be, but it's a lame attempt. As you note, Jai did the right thing. No school will win them all.

Pelini, obviously. Unless Les is actually telling Pelini what to call. The second half of the season has been the worst defense at LSU since the 90's, when we had a fraction of the talent.

some of this defensive weakness or inconsistency is directly related to the chop block. no call.

2005 Capital One Bowl. I know it was a fluke play at the end but, Iowa out played a much much much more talented LSU team for 3 quarters

Thanks to the so called defensive genius Nick Saban who had his nose so far up Miami's arse that he couldn't tell his very talented DB's that you cannot let the receivers get past you. They are going to throw it long. That is the only reason we lost to Iowa.

Interesting list. Miles is 8-4 against those guys in 3 years.

I think the "Michigan recruits itself" comment was aimed at Barksdale, not Jai!
