Good recruiter bad coach, they usually get a five star or high four star every year, sure would like to have him on our staff

What is strange is that the team isn't that bad. It just seems that they are only good for 30 minutes and shite for the last ten. If we got a coach that could get them to keep it together for 40 minutes then they would be a sweet 16 team easy.

Classic example of Be Careful What You Wish For. Grant seemed like a slam dunk (SWIDT?) I wanted him at LSU. But he isn't working out. There are no guarantees with coaching changes, which is why they should be avoided unless absolutely necessary.

While you're at it, try coach K and Roy Williams.

I was a big Grant supporter also...but I see no improvement at all.

There is no reason why Alabama cannot have a program on the level of a strong mid major and some years better.

Wimp put a good product on the floor and people supported the program and will do so again.

Paying near 2 Mill a year I am sure we can find a competent coach.

He tries to play Arkansas ball, but can't produce the offense like he needs to.

There's still hope that he'll hire Jimmy Sexton and Texas will come try to steal him.

What a dumb argument.

Grant was highly regarded as the next potential great coach. That's why he got paid by UA. Now, I agree he hasn't delivered and it's time for Bama to probably move on.

That said, the hire wasn't bad.

Bruce Pearl
he is still under the "show cause" for another year. It would be difficult for him to come back before then.

I'd love to see grant stay in Ttown coaching basketball for a long time.

Since the NCAA will not investigate Bama no matter how much money Bama players receive, Pearl would be perfectly safe to pull all of his shenanigans and Bama would become a very good Basketball program.

Y'all just wish you had a Red Elephant Club.

Snitches get stitches (or a hard fall down the stairs). Just ask Logan Young.

We need someone that is exciting to help bring the program out of the football team's shadow.

Good luck with that.

This program was supported in the past and fans would fill the seats for a winner.

No reason at all Bama can't win.

Pearl is gonna be back when his penalties are complete and he's gonna be a beast. Not sure if the stars will align for it to be at Bama, but we'll see.

I was all about Grant when LSU was hiring Trent. Now I'm happy we went with Trent because we got historic suck instead of mediocre suck, and that allowed us to start the rebuild a little quicker.
