Time for Anthony Grant to go.

Worst coach in the history of offensive basketball this team went 9 minutes and 30 seconds without a made field goal vs Xavier and ended up choking away a double digit lead at home.
He upgraded the schedule and what do we do? Lose ALL the upgrade games and we are out of the NCAA tournament in December.

Not a Bama fan, but Grant has been a disappointment. Really liked him when LSU hired TJ, but his style of ball is boring and he's just not producing like many thought he would

I don't think money will be an issue considering Grant is already like 16th highest paid coach in the country
It will be interesting to watch for sure. The fan support is there, but we are just dying to see a good product on the court.

Same here. Really like him, held out hope longer than usual. But we're past the point of any hope with Grant.

I agree. The thing is that we won't attract a top notch coach. We are a powerhouse at football but we're bottom feeders on the court.

This is not a perpetual condition. It's not as if it is impossible for Bama to have a solid basketball program - just look at the historical statistics of the SEC, where Bama is in the Top 3 for winning percentage and regular season titles. We already pay Grant as if he was a blockbuster coach (and by all means, that's what we though we were getting when we hired him from VCU). Clearly, though, we were mistaken.

Took awhile but now even his biggest supporters are calling for his head. I hoped he would be good, I doubted it though.

Grant has had five years and gets paid to make the tournament, which he consistently can't do.
Really at this point there is no reason to expect improvement.
